UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh is hiring a Full Time Team Leader, Food Services to support the Dietary and Cafeteria department. This entry-level leadership role involves supervising associates, training, and ensuring food safety. The position offers varied shifts with rotating weekends/holidays and every other Monday and Friday off.

Shift times are 4:30am-1pm and 10am-6:30pm. The starting rate is $19.60 per hour, with opportunities to develop leadership skills in a hospital food service environment.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in food service or customer service.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise hourly associates and ensure adherence to policies and guidelines.
• Oversee inventory security and cash handling.
• Orient and coach new team members per department guidelines.
• Monitor food safety programs and address hazards.
• Ensure quality and sanitation standards for meals and service.
• Conduct competency checks and document performance.
• Handle customer complaints per guidelines and perform service recovery.
• Monitor meal service quantities and adjust as needed.
