• Assist with daily operational procedures including setup, opening, and closing duties; organize inventory and promptly report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
• Take and fulfill guest orders promptly and accurately, including scooping ice cream and preparing menu items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
• Accurately record all transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system including handling credit cards and providing correct change to guests as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Food Service Team Member to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Food Service Team Member, you will display a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately ringing up merchandise and products in an efficient manner.

This position is for the 2027 Spring/Summer season

Pay

$17.75 – $17.75 / hour

What will you do?

• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
• Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for the entire length of shift
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping, carrying, walking, sitting, and reaching
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold
