Yellowstone General Stores, part of Delaware North Parks and Resorts, is seeking a Seasonal Cook for the 2027 Spring/Summer season in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Join our culinary team and showcase your skills while working in a unique park setting.

Responsibilities include food prep, dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety standards. We offer weekly pay, employee discounts, flexible schedules, and opportunities for internal mobility across Delaware North properties.

Qualifications

• No experience or diploma required.
• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.

Responsabilités

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen items while maintaining sanitizer levels.
• Comply with food preparation standards by adhering to specified portion sizes and quality benchmarks.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organized.
• Remove trash, recycle, and compost from the dish room and transport it to the correct dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans.
• Receive and check deliveries for quantity and quality.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory.

Pay

$18.25 – $18.25 / hour

What will you do?

• Clean, by hand or machine: dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items, ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards
• Comply with food preparation standards by adhering to specified portion sizes and quality benchmarks
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
