Job summary

Yellowstone National Park General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, is seeking a seasonal Retail Supervisor to lead and train retail team members while upholding standards, policies, and procedures. The role supports guest service for visitors from around the world in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers weekly pay, flexible schedules (32–40 hours per week), and benefits for eligible year-round positions at other Delaware North properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment.
• Previous experience working with point-of-sale and cash handling required.
• Ability to de-escalate guest and team member complaints.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding available products and services
• Opening and closing in accordance with management directives and operational procedures
• Assist management with daily cash procedures and operations
• Learn all roles within the department and provide hands-on support as needed to ensure seamless coverage and continuity of service
• Monitor store floor, assist with guest and team member needs, and ensure integrity of physical inventory and par levels
• Accurately record all transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and assist with self checkouts
• Assist with team member check-in and check-out processes to include documentation, assign dorm rooms, and coordinate required maintenance and repair for new arrivals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
• Perform other duties assigned

What will you do?
