Time to advance your career! We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors at Stockton Correctional Facility. You will work alongside a manager to coordinate and lead operations, oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and contribute where needed. We look forward to your growth and passion development.

Starting Pay: $16/hour

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
2. Direct daily activities.
3. Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
4. Ensure safe and organized storage of food items.
5. Maintain serving schedules; serve food per menu specifications following policies.
6. Maintain a sanitary environment complying with health and safety codes.
7. Maintain accurate weekly inventory records.
8. Prepare orders as needed for accurate production.
9. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
10. Ensure a safe working environment.
11. Train and mentor food service workers.
12. Keep logs on equipment maintenance.
13. Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions as needed.
14. Perform preventative maintenance checks.
15. Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
16. Perform multitasking proficiently.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
18. Fill in for absent employees as necessary.
19. Coordinate daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
20. Work occasional night and weekend catering events.
21. Attend staff meetings.
22. Maintain communication with staff via various channels.
23. Perform cashier duties if needed.
24. Promote good public relations.
