You will work alongside a manager to coordinate and lead operations, oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. Starting Pay: $16/hour

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets, including production sheets and recipes.
2. Direct daily activities.
3. Maintain food safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and departmental requirements.
4. Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items.
5. Maintain serving schedules; ensure food is served per menu specifications following company policies.
6. Ensure the department adheres to health and safety codes and regulations.
7. Maintain accurate weekly inventory records.
8. Prepare orders as needed to ensure proper production levels.
9. Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
10. Maintain a safe working environment.
11. Train and mentor other food service workers.
12. Keep logs on equipment maintenance and ensure completion of food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions as necessary.
13. Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
14. Proficiency in multitasking.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
16. Fill in for absent employees as needed.
17. Coordinate and ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering events.
18. Work occasional night and weekend catering events.
19. Attend staff meetings and maintain communication via email, phone, and inter-office mail.
20. May perform cashier duties when necessary.
21. Promote good public relations.
