Time to advance your career! We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors at Stockton Correctional Facility. You will work alongside a manager to coordinate and oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. We look forward to supporting your growth and passion.

Starting Pay: $16/hour

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production sheets and recipes.
2. Direct daily activities.
3. Ensure food safety and quality according to policies and regulations.
4. Store food items safely and organize storage.
5. Maintain serving schedules and ensure proper food service per menu and policies.
6. Keep the department sanitary, complying with health and safety codes.
7. Maintain accurate weekly inventory.
8. Prepare orders as needed for production.
9. Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth and teamwork.
10. Ensure a safe working environment.
11. Train and mentor staff.
12. Maintain equipment logs and perform preventative maintenance.
13. Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions when necessary.
14. Recommend equipment replacements.
15. Perform multitasking efficiently.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
17. Fill in for absent employees when necessary.
18. Coordinate catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
19. Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
20. Attend staff meetings and maintain communication via email, phone, and inter-office mail.
21. Perform cashier duties if needed.
22. Promote positive public relations.
