Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Food Service/Prep Aide to support cooks in preparing and presenting meals for residents and guests. You will manage the dishwashing area, keep dishes, silverware, and glassware clean, and assist in other dining operations as needed.

• Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook with food preparation and presentation.
• Portion and plate salads and desserts.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas and equipment.
• Run dishwashing operation and keep area clean.
• Assist in dining room service as needed, including beverage service.
• Stock shelves and refrigerators and report issues to supervisor.
