Qualifications

• Pay range listed: $16.50–$19.50 per hour
• Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry heavy objects
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operation and equipment

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items as requested
• Portion and plate salads and desserts
• Assist with cleaning of kitchen, including floors and equipment
• Set up and run the dishwashing operation
• Clean pots and pans as needed
• Check water temperatures and maintain sanitation equipment
• Take out all garbage
• Assist with dining room service as needed
• Stock food on shelves and in the refrigerator
• Report problems to supervisor
• Attend in-service and staff meetings
• Provide superior customer service to residents and guests
