Job summary

Trinity Services Group in the United States is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to partner with the Food Service Director to run a large operation, plan, direct, and coordinate activities across production kitchens, and supervise food service staff to ensure quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring a strong leadership presence, ServSafe certification, and a proven ability to manage inventory, payroll, and safety compliance while delivering excellent service and maintaining client

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and ability to complete necessary reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and food service management systems.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis.
• Maintain positive client relations through proactive communication and service excellence.
• Ensure proper quantities prepared and served per plan.
• Ensure staff are trained to perform duties safely and compliantly.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support menu planning.
• Oversee inspections and regulatory compliance.
