Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to partner with the Food Service Director in planning, directing, and coordinating activities for a large food service operation with production kitchens.

You will supervise a team, manage payroll, and ensure service excellence for clients. The role emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to food safety standards, inventory control, and collaboration with operations staff to meet menu specifications and regulatory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must have experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge and experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and with food service management systems.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision, training, and management of the facility food service operation.
• Hires, orients, trains and issues corrective action to team members.
• Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis.
• Building and maintaining positive connections with clients and ensuring their continued satisfaction.
• Oversees the appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served according to plan.
• Ensures team is trained and capable to perform job responsibilities safely and compliantly.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and planned menus.
• Ensures ordering and all required reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Overseeing preventive maintenance programs to protect assets.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintains safe storage of food items and sanitation standards.
• Plans for special events and functions with client facilities staff.
• Maintains serving schedules and timely service per menu specifications.
• Maintains a sanitary environment following Health Department codes.
• Maintains on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity.
