Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to work with the Food Service Director to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for a large food service operation and production kitchens. You will supervise food service workers, ensure safe handling, and drive client satisfaction across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and team coordination, with a focus on regulatory compliance, inventory control, and efficient service delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with food service management systems.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective action as needed.
• Review and approve payroll weekly.
• Build and maintain positive connections with clients and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee proper quantities prepared and served per plan.
• Ensure staff are trained to perform duties safely and compliantly.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in menu planning.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and asset protection.
• Ensure compliance with policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Ensure safe storage of food items and sanitation standards.
• Plan for special events and coordinate with facility operations staff.
• Maintain serving schedules and adherence to menu specs.
