Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to collaborate with the Food Service Director in planning, directing, and coordinating a large food service operation with one or more production kitchens.

The role includes supervising a team of food service workers, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing payroll processes, and maintaining strong client relationships to drive ongoing satisfaction and contract renewal. Training and a clear career path are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• A valid driver's license.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with food service management systems.
• Prior institutional food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication and service excellence.
• Ensure food quantities align with the facility plan and quality standards.
• Oversee safe and compliant food storage, handling and preparation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support menu planning.
• Oversee all preventive maintenance programs to protect assets.
