Trinity Services Group in Oklahoma is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to assist the Food Service Director in planning, directing and coordinating a large production kitchen operation, and to supervise a team of food service workers.

This role requires two years of management or supervisory experience in food service, three years of experience in the field, ServSafe certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong skills in payroll oversight, purchasing, inventory, and compliance

Qualifications

• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must have experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge and experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and with food service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervision, training, and management of the facility food service operation.
• Hires, orients, trains and issues corrective action to team members.
• Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis.
• Build and maintain positive connections with clients and ensure satisfaction with products or services.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served according to plan.
• Ensure team is trained and capable to perform duties safely and in compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in advance preparation of menu schedule.
• Ensure ordering and required reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs to protect assets.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and local, state and federal laws.
• Ensure food items are stored safely.
• Plan for special events and functions with facility staff.
• Maintain serving schedules and menu adherence.
• Maintain sanitary environment following Health Department codes.
• Maintain on-site reports of daily and monthly financial and activity.
• Participate in contract negotiation and renewal processes.
