Job summary

Town & Country Markets in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a hands-on Food Service Operations Manager to lead Deli, Bakery, Pizzeria, Espresso, BBQ, and Market Meals with a focus on guest service and department profitability. You will partner with Kitchen/Market managers, plan staffing, and forecast labor while ensuring Ready for Business standards are met across all units.

You’ll mentor staff and uphold safety and quality in a diverse team environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer 5 years’ management experience in food service/retail operations.
• Innovative and creative with enthusiasm for food, cooking and nutrition.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to be MAST certified.
• Positively manages change with the ability to enroll others.
• Must be a team player, transformational leader, and positive role model with passion and skill for developing others.

Responsibilities

• Manages overall Food Service operations including Deli, Bakery, Pizzeria, Espresso, BBQ, and Market Meals.
• Coordinates weekly Field House schedules with Market Manager (Hospitality) or Restaurant Manager.
• Participates in quarterly/annual forecasting and assists in achieving financial goals with a focus on gross and labor.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, guests, market staff and vendor community.
• Provides and role models excellent guest service.
• Oversees food service maintenance and cleanliness.
