Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Food Service Sales Director to lead a high-performing sales team, driving growth with a major food service distributor. You will be the primary customer-facing leader, strengthening the partnership, expanding private label sales, and supporting growth across classes of trade with emphasis on independent operators and regional/national chains.

The role guides a team that trains distributor reps to sell non-food solutions such as kitchen cleaning, front-of-house sanitizing,

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, distribution management, or closely related channels.
• Ability to develop and execute joint business plans with distributors.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach sales teams.
• Willingness to travel overnight and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a joint growth and profitability plan with the strategic distributor.
• Identify high-value opportunities across operators and chains.
• Translate priorities into sales plays, marketing programs, and execution expectations.
• Negotiate priorities and program support using ROI and distributor economics.
• Establish performance targets and monitor KPIs with distributor and internal teams.
• Lead regular business reviews with distributor partners and field teams.
• Coach distributor reps to grow non-food categories alongside core food sales priorities.
