Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Food Service Sales Director to lead a high-performing sales team serving a major food service distributor. You will strengthen partnerships, grow private label sales, and support growth across all classes of trade with emphasis on independent operators and regional/national chains.

You will guide a team that educates and motivates distributor sales reps to sell non-food solutions, including kitchen and front-of-house cleaning products, ware wash and laundry solutions, while

Qualifications

• Food service, distribution management, or closely related channels with an understanding of distributor partnerships.
• Proven ability to recruit, hire, develop, coach, and motivate sales teams to deliver results.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, align, and execute joint business plans with strategic customers or distribution partners.
• Strong face-to-face and cross-functional collaboration skills to support customer success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a joint growth and profitability plan with the strategic distributor.
• Use data and field feedback to identify high-value opportunities across operator types and market segments.
• Translate priorities into sales plays, marketing programs, and execution expectations.
• Negotiate priorities and program support using financial analysis and distributor economics.
• Establish performance targets and monitor KPIs with distributor and internal teams.
