Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Food Service Sales Director to lead a high-performing distributor-focused team. You will strengthen the partnership with a major food service distributor, expand private label sales, and drive growth across all trade classes with independent operators and national chains.

You will coach a team that trains distributor reps to sell non-food solutions, collaborate with marketing, pricing, and operations, and ensure price, delivery, and service excellence across territories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a joint growth and profitability plan with the strategic distributor.
• Identify high-value opportunities across independent food service operators, regional and national chains, multi-unit accounts, and local market segments.
• Translate strategic priorities into sales plays, resource plans, marketing programs, and execution expectations.
• Negotiate strategic priorities, investment requirements, and program support using financial analysis and ROI discipline.
• Establish performance targets, monitor KPIs, and create shared accountability with the distributor and internal teams.
