Job summary

American Social - Miami (Brickell) is seeking friendly, energetic hospitality professionals to join our team as servers. You will describe and sell menu items, deliver drinks and food, and ensure guests have a memorable experience.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude. The role requires 18+ years old, late-night availability, and certifications; training provided on standards, presentation, and safety. This is a full-time, on-site position in Miami.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
• Able to work late-night shifts, up to 12 AM–3 AM.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification required (ServSafe, TIPs, or equivalent).
• Food handling certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Describe and sell all items on the food and beverage menus.
• Deliver beverages and food efficiently while engaging guests.
• Maintain a positive guest experience and accommodate guests' needs.
• Stock supplies and keep the dining area clean and organized.
• Work with FOH and BOH priorities and follow managers' directions.
• Support Marketing initiatives and teamwork across shifts.

Job description

Job Functions:

• Delivers beverages and food efficiently and maintains engagement to ensure a positive experience

• High production standards including, consistency, firmness, and temperature of food
• Ensures food is cooked to standards and guests specifications
• Ensure proper plate presentation, portioning, and recipe adherence
• Cleans and prepares tables for new guests
• Supports restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping a clean and organized environment
• Practices teamwork during all shifts and supports both FOH and BOH priorities
• Works cohesively with all Team Members
• Flexible to assist in other departments as requested
• Works well under pressure
• Follows the direction of the Managers on duty
• Supports and follows all Marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM - 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level
• Able to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
