Job summary

American Social in Fort Lauderdale is seeking friendly servers to guide guests through the beverage and food ordering process, make specific recommendations, and deliver an engaging dining experience. You will greet guests promptly, work late-night shifts, and maintain high standards of service while staying attentive to detail and teamwork.

Fluent English and an Alcohol Awareness Certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
