Job summary

OSI Group in Batavia, IL is seeking a Technical Contributor focused on QA to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements. You will work directly with QA management and perform QA sampling, testing, and audits across production areas, including the dock and facility.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Competence in QA transactions, in SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Understanding of GMP’s, SSOP’s, and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Review QA/HACCP paperwork used in all production departments and fill out correctly.
• Perform QA tech responsibilities for routine quality checks and audits on production, the dock, and the facility.
• Develop and maintain databases as needed.
• Qualified to perform QA sampling and testing methods.
• Understand the processes and methods involved in food production.
• Interact with management, QA, production, government officials and 3rd party contractors, and follow safety policies.
