Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Production Operator to support our food manufacturing process. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, and monitor production lines to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will perform quality checks, follow GMPs and SOPs, maintain area cleanliness, and keep accurate production records in the Redzone system. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Education/certifications: High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Knowledge: GMPs, SOPs, safety rules (OSHA), and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment per specifications and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks on materials and finished goods.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs for assembly, packaging, and labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area.
• Monitor production schedules and report issues to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records in the production reporting system (Redzone).
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians and QC to meet production goals.
