Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of production equipment in a food manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and document repairs to optimize performance.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, adherence to GMP/HACCP/OSHA standards, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and maintain safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical school preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing (prefer automated food processing).
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery (conveyors, mixers, packaging, refrigeration).
• Inspect, lubricate, and adjust equipment to meet production requirements.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency unscheduled breakdowns during production.
