Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. in Salt Lake City seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our food manufacturing equipment running smoothly.

You will perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, packaging machinery, and refrigeration, and quickly diagnose faults to reduce downtime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of related experience in industrial manufacturing, and experience with electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, and SCADA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, required; technical school education preferred.
• 5 years related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in an automated food processing plant.
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
• Respond to unscheduled repairs during production to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain clean, safe production area in line with GMP/HACCP/OSHA.
