Job summary

Lofton Staffing Services is partnering with a Belle Rose, LA food manufacturer to hire a Logistics / Distribution Coordinator. This newly created direct-hire role will own distribution operations, coordinating with production, inventory control, QA/QC, and customer service to keep goods moving between two facilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound freight with 3PLs, tracking shipments, resolving paperwork discrepancies, and implementing new distribution processes, with

Qualifications

• No degree required; open to varying experience levels.
• Food manufacturing or foodservice distribution background preferred, cold-chain a plus.
• Familiarity with distributors' operations and appointment scheduling.
• Shipping terms, bills of lading, and freight documentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight with 3PL providers and customers.
• Serve as central liaison between production, inventory control, QA/QC, and customer service.
• Track shipments and ensure USDA-compliant documentation in ERP.
• Develop and implement distribution processes as the role evolves.
