Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.
• Effective communicator up and across the organization.
• Lead, coach, delegate to Supervisors, Associates, and Drivers.
• Prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Use data/metrics to drive improvement.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, Eclipse preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Analytical, basic math skills.
• Ability to plan using warehouse layouts.
• Positive, hard-working, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage P&L expenses, quality, productivity, staffing, safety, capacity, and product flow
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging metrics, training, and coaching
• Maintain open communications with operations personnel
• Support Customer Service, QA/QC, and Inventory Control as needed
• Monitor branch review queue
• Monitor and respond to inbound/outbound/product questions
• Daily warehouse walkthrough to check safety and housekeeping
• Review daily reports to identify opportunities and root causes
• Oversee cross-dock and transfer situations as they arise
• Address and solve general branch issues
• Ensure parcel shipments are processed timely and accurately
