Helping Hands Reentry Outreach Centers is seeking a Part-time Food Donation Coordinator to source, acquire, and process donations. The role includes donation pickup, inventory, and coordinating with the Operations team and Kitchen Supervisor, with 24 hours per week during business hours.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work independently in a nonprofit setting, with attention to donor relations and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifikationen

• One year of relevant experience in donations, inventory, logistics, or nonprofit operations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and follow through.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, donors, and community partners.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate food donation process from acquisition to internal distribution.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with donors and community partners.
• Ensure donations are documented, tracked, and receipted.
• Attend offsite donation events such as Farmers Markets and volunteer fairs.
• Manage transport, storage, and inventory of donated items.
• Ensure compliance with donation-related laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
