Job summary

SSCAC is seeking a mission-driven Food Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of our food distribution center. Under the direction of the Food Resources Manager, the Coordinator assists with warehouse operations, food drives and community collection sites, distribution, inventory and recordkeeping, food safety, community outreach, and customer service.

The position hours are Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (25 hrs/wk).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and ability to drive agency vehicles, if required.
• ServeSafe certification or ability to obtain certification; food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the food distribution center and warehouse activities.
• Assist with food drives, community collection sites, distribution, inventory, and recordkeeping.
