Job summary

Holiday Inn Houma restaurant supervision role overseeing service in Food and Beverage Outlets. You’ll train, motivate, and coach staff while monitoring labor costs and expenses.

The Outlet Supervisor will work closely with the manager to ensure guest satisfaction and high service standards. This position requires the ability to handle guest objections and maintain composure in busy environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Expotel Hospitality Service standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with Expotel Hospitality Service standards and regulations to ensure safe, efficient hotel operations.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
• Ensure work areas are properly stocked and requisitions prepared.
• Ensure work areas are neat and clean.
• Check trays/tables are set to standards and ensure quality control of menus.
• Assist outlets when necessary and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests and communicate to management when necessary.
• Train and perform duties required of all food and beverage outlet staff.
• Hold pre-meal meetings daily to monitor service and promote upselling.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel/related field
