Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Food Lead to manage a safe, clean, and stocked foodservice area within our Ohio store. This role focuses on foodservice programs, product offering, equipment, SOP adherence, and assisting colleagues with foodservice knowledge to grow sales.

In addition to foodlead duties, the role emphasizes delivering The Hi Five Guest Experience, guiding team members when managers are unavailable, and adhering to all laws, policies, and ethical standards while handling alcohol

Qualifications

Must be able to speak, hear and understand English well enough to communicate with guests.
Must become Food Safety certified per UDF/state regulations.
Able to see well to operate store equipment and read price books.
Experience with foodservice programs or retail food service is a plus.

Responsibilities

Turn on Roller Grill and HTG Oven, stock per Production Guide, date products correctly and ensure food safety.
Prepare fresh condiments and ensure expiration times on all products.
Maintain temperature logs for all foodservice areas and ensure product availability.
Ensure proper ordering to prevent foodservice stockouts.
Perform wash, rinse and sanitizing of smallwares to maintain safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all foodservice areas according to SOPs.
