Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to join our New York location. You will deliver outstanding customer service, help manage daily store operations, and support the General Manager with scheduling and team supervision.

We seek someone with at least 1 year in hospitality, a high school diploma, and a willingness to close shifts. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; health benefits and a 401(k) plan are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service in a hospitality environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years of college preferred
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in a hospitality environment
• Local Food Handler certification required
• Bilingual ability is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, maintain clear communication with the team
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues
• Motivate and guide team members to ensure fast, friendly service
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist GM with enforcing store procedures and policies
• Cover all shifts and supervise team members' scheduling
• Monitor attendance and time-off requests
• Assign duties based on roles and skills to optimize productivity
• Supervise and support staff to maintain operational efficiency
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
