Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join the field sales team covering East London, Eastern Cape. You will build strong relationships with retail customers, promote a diverse product range, and drive sales growth in your territory.

The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proven track record of meeting targets, and the ability to manage routes and schedules for maximum customer engagement. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in FMCG or retail.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills required.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Knowledge of East London/Eastern Cape retail landscape is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail customers.
• Present and sell products highlighting features and benefits.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the territory.
• Ensure in-store placement, merchandising, and promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
• Gather market intelligence and relay insights to teams.
• Plan routes and schedules for maximum engagement.
• Process orders and coordinate delivery arrangements.
