Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced fluids engineer to design, analyze, and integrate fluid systems for the New Glenn program. You will model, test, and optimize pneumatic, cryogenic, thermal, and environmental control systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver flight hardware.

The role requires a four-year degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering and 5+ years in a similar role, with Creo/ANSYS and piping familiarity.

Qualifications

  • The candidate has a four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree or similar discipline.
  • 5+ years in a similar fluid systems role with piping and hydraulic knowledge.
  • Experience with piping, fabrication drawings, and components for piping systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and test fluid systems including pneumatic, cryogenic, thermal, and environmental control systems.
  • Develop and validate models of fluid systems using relevant software tools.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to understand system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fluid systems into vehicle structure.
  • Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
