Job summary

United Rentals in Deer Park, NY is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to act as a key customer contact and consultant for our Fluid Solutions branch. You will recommend solutions, quote and fulfill rental orders for our specialty equipment and services, and build lasting relationships with customers to drive branch growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions products and applications are preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Understand rental business for specialty engineered products and services.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts with walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties as needed.
