Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Fluid Solutions branch. You will be a key customer contact, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders, while building relationships and driving branch growth.

You will establish an understanding of the fluid solutions business, process quotations and contracts, educate customers on proper equipment use, and coordinate with branch staff to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Understand the rental business for fluid solutions products and services.
• Process quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts from walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers on proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and operations.
• Maintain branch asset inventory.
• Other duties as needed.
