Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to serve as a key customer contact and consultant at our Fluid Solutions branch in Medina, OH. You will quote, sell and fulfill orders for equipment and services, dedicated to fluid solutions and delivering value to customers.

You will build relationships, educate customers on proper equipment use, and coordinate with branch teams to ensure satisfaction and safety. This is a safety-sensitive role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish an understanding of the rental business as it pertains to specialty engineered rental products and services, including electric and hydraulic pumps.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with all inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run all reports necessary to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
