Job summary

United Rentals (N A) is seeking an Inside Sales Rep for our Fluid Solutions branch. You will be a key customer contact, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for our equipment and services based on customer needs.

This role focuses on fluid solutions equipment rental and supply, requiring strong sales and service mindset. It offers opportunities to build relationships, drive branch growth and develop your career within the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of fluid solutions products and applications preferred
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen attention to detail and safety
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of rental business for fluid solutions and related products
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts via walk-in and call-in customers
• Educate customers about proper equipment use
• Coordinate with all branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets
• Other duties as needed
