Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep for our Fluid Solutions branch. You will be a key customer contact and consultant, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders based on customer needs in the equipment and services area.

You will educate customers on proper equipment use, coordinate with branch staff to ensure satisfaction, and help drive branch growth through effective relationship building and sales activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish an understanding of the rental business for specialty engineered rental products and services (electric and hydraulic pumps).
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with all branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties as needed.
