Job summary

United Rentals in Deer Park, NY, is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to serve as a key customer contact and consultant for fluid solutions equipment rental and services. You will quote, sell and fulfill orders based on customer needs, while coordinating with branch staff to ensure satisfaction.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience; strong sales and customer service skills, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of the rental business for fluid solutions products and services.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run all reports to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
