Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Specialist-Fluid Power to sell directly to customers with a technical focus on fluid power products. You will develop sales strategies, identify prospects, and manage existing relationships to drive growth.

You will prepare bids, proposals, and product demonstrations, partnering with the Branch Manager on plans to meet product and sales goals, while delivering excellent service and timely communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; industry and sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and mill supply.
• Knowledge of supply chain systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
• Reliable, organized, detailed, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Sells directly to customers with a technical focus on Fluid Power products.
• Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products, services, or solutions.
• Generates new business and cross-sells to customers.
• Develops and delivers bids, proposals, and presentations; conducts product demos.
• Works with Branch Manager on business planning to reach goals.
