Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking an energetic Outside Sales professional to assist OEMs and industrial customers with fluid power solutions in the Atlanta area. You will research parts, quote, take orders, and generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach.

The role emphasizes building lasting customer relationships, product knowledge in actuators, valves, compressors, and related automation topics, and providing exceptional service to increase account growth.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent or Fluid Power/Industrial Distribution degree.
• Three years experience in industrial or fluid power environment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and quotes via email or phone inquiries.
• Answer delivery inquiries and check stock, back orders, and shipping dates.
• Assist customers using worksheets and part number files to determine costs and availability.
• Expedite order inquiries and investigate defects or wrong shipments.
• Assist walk-in customers with product needs and order processing.
• Monitor returns and process reshipment or credits as needed.
• Grow business by qualifying and opening new accounts and upselling.
• Maintain customer relationship history in the systems.
