Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Flow Inventory Associate to maintain vehicle inventory and support a fast-paced workflow. You will receive, store, and merchandize cars, ensure data accuracy, and prepare title packets for transfers while upholding CarMax quality standards.

You will also manage photo uploads for listings, assist with returns and loaners, and drive cars on/off the lot as needed. The role requires safety awareness and the ability to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory following CarMax inventory processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax; prepare title packets.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising; keep areas clean and organized.
• Prep vehicles for returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.
• Drive vehicles on/off lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow EH&S requirements; maintain a clean, orderly work area.
