Job summary

Nurse-Family Partnership is seeking a Florida Development Officer based in the greater Miami area to drive major gifts and build a strong statewide fundraising program. You will manage a diverse donor portfolio, solicit major gifts, and coordinate with volunteers and staff to meet ambitious goals.

Responsibilities include donor cultivation, proposal development, event planning, and reporting. The role requires at least five years of fundraising experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and travel around

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of fundraising experience, including major gifts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of Florida philanthropic community.
• Proven experience conducting face-to-face major donor solicitations.
• Experience writing proposals, letters and fundraising reports.
• Ability to present persuasive support for gifts.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising goals.
• Experience with fundraising databases and MS Office.
• Travel ~40% and strong teamwork with volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• 70% Portfolio Management: manage a diverse donor portfolio and solicit major gifts.
• 20% Volunteer Engagement: guide state and community volunteer leadership.
• 10% Events & Communications: develop strategies and coordinate donor events.
