Job summary

Nurse-Family Partnership seeks a Florida Philanthropy Officer to drive statewide fundraising and build a major gifts portfolio as part of a national team. The role focuses on cultivating donors, coordinating volunteers, and implementing a scalable Florida program from the ground up, with travel as needed.

The successful candidate will have significant fundraising experience, exceptional proposal writing, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the national program team.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of fundraising experience with major gifts
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Knowledge of Florida philanthropic community is a plus
• Proven success in donor solicitation and proposal development
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• 50% Portfolio Management: manage donors to meet annual fundraising goals
• 20% Program Development and Oversight: build Florida fundraising program with metrics
• 20% Volunteer Engagement: lead and coordinate volunteers and boards
• 10% Events & Communications: raise visibility and coordinate local events
