Job summary

Diaz Anselmo & Associates P.A. is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney licensed in Florida to join our growing team in Plantation.

The role focuses on foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, and related matters for institutional clients, with courtroom appearances and high-volume caseload management. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience, strong Florida civil procedure knowledge, and excellent writing and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience in commercial, creditors' rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or related practice areas.
• Experience handling contested hearings, motions, and courtroom appearances independently.
• Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and evidentiary rules.
• Excellent legal writing, research, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, and related proceedings.
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, mediations, and trials.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations on cases.
• Advise clients on litigation risks, requirements, and strategy.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and guidelines.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve outcomes.
• Participate in special projects and additional legal initiatives as needed.
