Hy‑Vee is seeking a Floral Department Manager to lead the Floral Department, ensuring high product quality and exceptional customer service. You will manage pricing, promotions, and all Teleflora/FTD orders while guiding a team to deliver beautiful results for customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, inventory control, and daily operation oversight in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior floral management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Over three years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Set standards for service, cleanliness, and department profitability.
• Lead and develop department staff; hire and train.
• Process and manage FTD, Teleflora orders confidentially.
• Plan pricing, promotions, and inventory to drive sales.
• Monitor weekly sales, create ads and projections.
• Ensure proper storage, temperatures, and shrink control.
