OPENLANE is seeking a Detail-oriented Title Specialist to join the BacklotCars title team at our Carmel, Indiana headquarters. You will handle accurate and timely title processing for floorplan titles, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have vehicle title experience or related paperwork background, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Google Suite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of documentation/paperwork experience in a corporate/office setting.
• Experience in data entry and repetitive tasks.
• Proven ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify title issues and escalate to Title Issue team.
• Identify errors in Titles.
• Answer Slack inquiries related to floorplan and float titles.
• Ensure Floorplan titles issues are handled to completion or alerted to the relevant dept.
• Learn or apply knowledge of state laws and requirements when handling titles.
• Process vehicle titles from multiple states with accuracy.
• Scan titles into an electronic format.
• Create shipping labels, packages, seals, and send titles to buyers via FedEx.
• Return titles for voided sales to reduce turnaround times.
