Job summary

OPENLANE, headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, is seeking a Title Specialist to handle title service processing and maintain SLA and PAR quality. You will manage the 50-state titling process, recovery affidavits, and communications with auctions while delivering exceptional client service.

You will complete titles, registrations, and related documentation, enter requests into the inventory system, and coordinate with the DMV daily. Strong typing, organization, and data-entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years general office and data entry experience.
• Fast, accurate typing – 45-60 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service via telephone and research client questions.
• Perform general filing, copying and administrative support.
• Process title and/or registration applications and recovery affidavits; track transactions across 51 states.
• Enter new title requests into the title inventory system.
• Call DMV updates daily; prepare and distribute title invoices.
• Review titles and related documents to ensure accurate titles for clients.
