Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Rep – Flooring Solutions. The role covers LA County, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties, with a territory shifting from Ventura to San Fernando Valley.

You will develop the territory, implement sales plans, and build the national branding identity by selling a range of flooring-related equipment. Required is a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of direct sales, a strong technical background, and a solution-selling approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in equipment or construction-related sales.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience with a solution-selling approach.
• Strong technical background and ability to learn engineering concepts.
• Self-starter with excellent communication and results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and promote Sunbelt’s safety culture.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to expand existing customer base and develop new customers within assigned territory and markets segment to grow the business.
• Solicit business by calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or traveling throughout the territory for planned visits or cold calls.
• Provide technical sales and application solutions for customers.
• Prepare detailed proposals to solicit orders, close deals and win business.
• Coordinate project specs with internal personnel to ensure job objectives are met on time.
• Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities within territory.
• Maintain CRM database daily with sales calls and job site details.
• Learn all technical aspects of equipment and provide training to customers.
• Assist with all aspects of the business to ensure customer success as needed.
