Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more, engaging customers, answering questions, and helping them achieve home improvement goals on a fast-paced sales floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand needs and communicate advantages of Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates and scheduling installer visits.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and work with vendors/stores to find merchandise and order stock.
• Perform price reviews by pricing policies and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and department requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department and conduct on-the-job training on the Sales floor.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
